Energy And Food System
High prices for diesel fuel
High prices for fertiliser
Degrading soils requiring more and more fertiliser
Degrading soils losing drought resilience
Increasing variable and severe weather
Low Cost
+ Net Negative CO2 Emissions Energy
+ Relative Reduction of Other GHGs
+ Soil Restoration
+ Low Risk of Adverse Consequences
+ Scalability
+ Competitive Profit
+ Multiple High Value Markets
= Effective Climate Change Mitigation

NextFarm is an Australian start-up team of five, developing our unique Energy And Food System.
There are two pieces of hardware combining to give;
1, low cost on-demand and baseload electricity or irrigation pumps, and later tractors etc,
2, soil restoration, via best practice biochar as a co-product at no extra cost to the farmer.
Initial markets are agriculture, later heavy transport.
The overall system would have about 340% net negative CO2 emissions energy compared to diesel.
This is much better than the zero CO2 emissions goal, and now needed with the worsening climate situation.
